Ingo Fochler was born and raised in a small German town just outside of Stuttgart, Germany. Ingo's mother was a stay at home mom, which allowed her to cook some pretty incredible meals In grade school, Ingo was the envy of all the other children and was often offered money to swap lunches with the other kids. His mother's cooking was infamous.

Growing up Ingo was always interested in cooking and studied his mothers every move. She taught him everything she knows and now he wants to share it with you.

Lindsey Berkshire was born in raised in a small suburb outside of Dayton, Ohio. Growing up her parents both worked and neither were big into cooking. After graduation high school, Lindsey moved to Tampa, Florida to attend college. She met Ingo her senior year and began experiencing the most amazing food she's ever had. She was in awe when he made his own noodles (spaetzle) in her tiny dorm kitchen and she was hooked ever since. Lindsey encouraged Ingo to write this German cookbook and agreed to help edit the text to ensure it reads properly in English.
